our lives will be transformed by God's grace and love into something richer and more meaningful.

When we express positive beliefs in the present tense,

Daniel sat down next to his brother, Sirong, and quietly began his story: “Sirong, there was a time when I was young and sick, and I’m going to tell you how I overcame that pain. And this story isn’t just about health. It’s also about how we can be wise, wealthy, blessed, and live in the love of family, neighbors, and God.”

Sirong listened and looked at Daniel, who began his story.

“When I was sick, I said, ‘I am well now,’ but this doesn’t just apply to health. ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’ (Hebrews 11:1). It can be applied to anything we want, not just health, for example, ‘I am able to make wise decisions’ or ‘My family is richly blessed’.”

Sirong listened more attentively, deeply resonating with Daniel’s words. Daniel continued.

“Also, saying positive things like, ‘I love my neighbor, and they love me,’ can strengthen your relationship with your neighbors. Remember that our mindset and words affect our relationships, as it says, ‘Guard your heart, for out of it come life’ (Proverbs 4:23).”

Sirong tried to understand what Daniel was saying. Daniel continued to explain.

“And through words of faith, such as ‘God loves us and hears our prayers,’ we can also experience God’s love and answers. ‘Death and life are under the power of the tongue’ (Proverbs 18:21). This verse shows how what we say shapes our lives. We must remember that our words affect our health, wisdom, wealth, blessings, relationships, and even our spiritual life.”

Sirong nodded with a glimmer of understanding. Daniel smiled and concluded his story.

“So, Sirong, don’t forget how important our beliefs and words are. Saying things like, ‘I am healthy now,’ ‘I am wise,’ ‘My family is happy,’ ‘I am living in God’s love,’ ‘I am living in God’s love.’ When we express positive beliefs in the present tense, our lives will be transformed by God’s grace and love into something richer and more meaningful.”

belief for present

If we look at Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say to you, whatever you pray and ask for, in everything you do, believe that you have received it, and it will be done for you."

Note that "have received" is in the present (perfect) tense, not the future tense.
